The IBST course seeks to foster collaborative relationships between local First Nations and backcountry operators.
To inspire a deep appreciation for ancestral knowledge, environmental stewardship, and personal growth, inviting participants to embark on a journey that honours the Indigenous communities that have sustained it for generations.
Our Goals

To get experienced First Nations skiers and snowboarders into the backcountry, have them experience riding powder snow and travelling in mountainous terrain. ​​​
